How a number gets on a page

Where a calculator has both server and browser engines, they share test cases. Each published tool states its method, assumptions, and source limits. Code-table sizing stays unavailable until source rights and independent technical review are verified.

Regression tests and independent checks

For tools with both PHP and browser implementations, shared cases check that their results agree within the stated tolerances. Server-only tools are checked on the server. Tests cover supported inputs, unit handling, rounding, invalid inputs and boundary cases; the checks available differ by tool.

Agreement between our own implementations is not an independent reference or professional certification. Reference values still need traceable sources, applicable conditions and separate expected-result checks. A passing software test does not establish that a proposed electrical installation is safe.

Publication is a separate decision

Drafts, source evidence, reuse decisions, editorial review and owner approval are checked separately. Changing reviewed content requires fresh approval. Unfinished and safety-held pages remain private; a local preview is not a published or professionally approved answer.

What this page is not

It is not a laboratory accreditation. It is a record of how this site refuses to invent a watt, an amp, or a breaker size. Report a mismatch on the contact form.
